For almost a decade, we’ve been celebrating the arrival of the harvest season by putting a twist on one of the most anticipated drinks of the year, our Baked Maple Pumpkin Latte (lovingly sounded out as "BMPL" amongst Kaldi's team members).
Each morning, we spread a tray of pumpkin out, pop it in the oven, and let its hearty aroma fill our cafes as it bakes. When it’s cooked to a golden hue, we combine it with real maple syrup, cinnamon, and get it ready to serve. You might only see the puree being steamed into a decadent, creamy delight, but we’re confident the attention our bakery team gives it adds just as much to your smile as the whipped cream topped with grated nutmeg.

A Refreshing Alternative: The Oatchata Cold Brew
This year, in addition to the Baked Maple Pumpkin Latte, we wanted to bring you even more delightful fall flavors. While you can always order an iced BMPL if you’re craving something cooler, we’ve also concocted the vegan Oatchata Cold Brew.
Our Oatchata is a modern play on the North African tradition of infusing plant-milks with spices which originated as far back as 2400 BC, eventually spread from West Africa to Spain by the 11th Century, then to Central, North, and South America through Spanish colonization, where it grew in variety according to local tastes. By infusing Haya Cold Brew and oat milk with real cinnamon overnight, then amping the cinnamon up with a few pumps of cinnamon simple syrup, we hope to comfort you with invigorating, fall flavors that carry you through the cooler harvest evenings.
Bakery Items: A Sweet Complement to the Fall Air
While our bakers are surrounded by the invigorating smells of the Baked Maple Pumpkin Latte puree, they couldn’t help but create new pastries to complement those harvest flavors.
Pumpkin and savory spices combine in our classic Pumpkin Bread, which can also be ordered by the loaf, and our maple-glazed Pumpkin Walnut Scones. Peanut Butter Cookies provide a bite of temptation, while one of your summertime favorites, the Orange Almond Muffin, returns as a vegan harvest indulgence.

A blend of fresh and hearty flavors, the Harvest Bowl rounds out our seasonal menu changes. With savory baked sweet potatoes over a bed of quinoa and arugula, topped by healthy chickpeas, fresh apples, dried cranberries, savory walnuts, and a light dollop of creamy goat cheese, the Harvest Bowl is tied together with a scrumptious maple dressing.
